Our Girls Just Wanna Paint Challenge this month, which I got to choose, was "Quotes".  We each could choose whatever quote we wanted and then do a painting expressing that quote in some way. I have a book in which I collect quotes. Some are comical. Others are thoughtful and wise in their words. Often times I need kleenex near when I reread. And some are even my own words. Ask my kids, I can be so enlightening. haha! And I even collect political quotes, but I thought we are thronged with enough politics these days to use any of those. Right?

I thought it was going to be an easy challenge, until I started reviewing all the quotes in my book. There were many I would love to base paintings on. In the end, I chose this one. Thanks, George. There are a few things in the painting I think I may still need to tweak, but deadline called.

This has inspired me to do more artwork based on quotes. Enjoy the game! Go Pats!
